Defenders of Wildlife Charity Tote Bag
“The gray wolf. My kindred spirit and an amazing inspirational creature. Its future is in great peril. Let’s work together to fight for this special animal and ensure its place on our planet.“
—2023 Danny Elfman
This cotton canvas tote bag (measuring 15”W x 16”H x 3”D) features an original collaborative design by Danny Elfman, Defenders of Wildlife and illustrator Frances Waite. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Defenders of Wildlife, working on the ground, in the courts, and on Capitol Hill to protect and restore imperiled wildlife and habitats across North American.
Defenders and their work with the gray wolf:
Defenders is working with landowners across the West to develop and implement nonlethal deterrents, better agricultural practices and other innovative tools that minimize conflict and build social acceptance for wolves. They have helped hundreds of ranchers purchase turbo-fladry and livestock guard dogs, hire range riders and deploy scare devices to keep wolves away from livestock. They focus on education and coexistence so that wolves and people can share the land, while holding state and federal legislatures and wildlife agencies accountable to preventing threats to wolf populations and recovery.
